In December, we began running advertisements for a client who previously had a few successful Facebook ads but an incomplete sales funnel. The account had only 4 active ads in November, which generated a total profit of £52,368.55 for the business during that month.

Due to some stock-related issues, our launch in December was a slow one. We started collecting data on a lower budget and gradually built out a more robust funnel until stock levels improved.

By January, our stock levels had returned to optimal levels, and we had the budget to push harder. We launched new campaigns and tested new creatives throughout the funnel multiple times a week.

By the end of January, we had achieved 3,622 sales worth £77,218.10 through Facebook alone, with an average 3.16 return on ad spend (ROAS). This contributed to the brand’s total sales of £117,679.00 for the month of January.

Restaurant located in a busy part of the town. They have been in business for a few years and have a loyal customer base, but they have been struggling to attract new customers and increase revenue. The restaurant has a website and a presence on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, but they have not been actively managing their social media accounts.

Objective:

The objective of the social media management campaign is to increase awareness of the Restaurant, attract new customers, and increase revenue.

Strategy:

Our team of social media experts recommended the following strategy for the Restaurant:

  1. Develop a social media content plan: Our team developed a content plan for the Restaurant that included regular posts on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. The content plan included a mix of promotional posts, engaging content, and user-generated content.
  2. Optimize social media profiles: We optimized the Restaurant’s social media profiles by updating their bios, adding a call-to-action, and ensuring that their branding was consistent across all platforms.
  3. Run social media ad campaigns: We ran targeted social media ad campaigns on Facebook and Instagram to promote the restaurant’s menu items and special events.
  4. Monitor and respond to customer feedback: We monitored the restaurant’s social media accounts for customer feedback and responded promptly to any complaints or concerns.

Results:

  1. Increased social media following: The restaurant’s social media following increased by 30%, which helped increase awareness of the restaurant and attract new customers.
  2. Increased engagement: The engagement rate on the Restaurant’s social media accounts increased by 50%, which helped increase brand awareness and customer loyalty.
  3. Increased website traffic: The restaurant’s website traffic increased by 25%, which helped increase online bookings and revenue.
  4. Increased revenue: The restaurant’s revenue increased by 15% due to the increased number of customers attracted through the social media campaign.

The ad featured mouth-watering images of the brunch menu items, along with a call-to-action to book a table.

The campaign generated over 200 clicks to the restaurant’s website and resulted in a 15% increase in bookings for the brunch menu.

Asian Restaurant https://socialbrandxperts.com/asian-restaurant/ Wed, 29 Mar 2023 17:45:47 +0000 https://socialbrandxperts.com/?p=27932 Asian Restaurant Background:

Our client, the Asian restaurant, was facing stiff competition from nearby restaurants and takeaway shops. Despite having good quality food, the restaurant struggled to attract new customers and increase their sales. They approached us to help them increase their visibility and reach more potential customers through digital marketing channels.

Strategy:

Our team developed a comprehensive digital marketing strategy that focused on three key platforms: Google, Facebook, and TikTok. We used a mix of paid and organic methods to increase the restaurant’s visibility, engagement, and sales.

Google:

We started by optimizing the restaurant’s Google My Business listing. We added high-quality photos of the restaurant and their food, updated their opening hours, and responded to customer reviews promptly. We also created Google Ads campaigns targeting people searching for Asian cuisine in the local area, using relevant keywords and location targeting. We used Google Analytics to track the number of clicks, impressions, and conversions from these campaigns.

Facebook:

We created a Facebook page for the restaurant and optimized it with high-quality photos, menu information, and customer reviews. We ran Facebook Ads campaigns targeting people in the local area who were interested in Asian cuisine, using targeting options such as age, interests, and location. We also used Facebook Pixel to track the number of clicks, impressions, and conversions from these campaigns.

TikTok:

We created a TikTok account for the restaurant and started posting short videos showcasing their food, behind-the-scenes footage of the kitchen, and happy customers. We used relevant hashtags and engaged with the TikTok community to increase the reach of our videos. We also included a link to the restaurant’s website in the bio section to drive traffic and sales. We used TikTok Analytics to track the number of views, likes, comments, and clicks to the website from our videos.

Results:

After implementing our digital marketing strategy, the restaurant saw a significant increase in sales and customer traffic.

Here are the results from each platform:

Google:

The restaurant’s Google Ads campaigns generated 1,500 clicks and 150 conversions (i.e., online orders or phone bookings) in the first month, with a conversion rate of 10%. We also saw an increase in the number of people visiting the restaurant’s Google My Business listing, with 1,000 more views than the previous month.

Facebook:

The restaurant’s Facebook Ads campaigns generated 2,000 clicks and 200 conversions in the first month, with a conversion rate of 10%. We also saw an increase in the number of page likes and engagement, with 500 more likes and 1,000 more post engagements than the previous month.

TikTok:

The restaurant’s TikTok account generated 100,000 views and 10,000 link clicks to the website in the first month. We also saw an increase in the number of followers and engagement, with 2,000 more followers and 5,000 more likes than the previous month.

Overall, our digital marketing strategy helped the Asian restaurant to increase their sales and customer traffic, and improve their visibility and engagement on key digital marketing platforms. We were able to monitor and track the results from each platform using tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, and TikTok Analytics, which allowed us to provide detailed reports and insights to our client.

How we track our progress

tracking the number of customers who came to the restaurant through our digital marketing campaigns was an important part of our strategy, and we used a variety of methods to do so. Here’s how we monitored each campaign to see how many customers were coming to the restaurant through our ads:

1. Google Ads: We used conversion tracking in Google Ads to track the number of online orders or phone bookings that were made as a result of our campaigns. We also included a unique promo code in the ad copy, which customers could use to get a discount when they placed an order. This allowed us to track the number of customers who used the promo code, and therefore, how many customers were coming to the restaurant through our ads.

2. Facebook Ads: Similar to Google Ads, we used conversion tracking in Facebook Ads to track the number of online orders or phone bookings that were made as a result of our campaigns. We also included a unique promo code in the ad copy, which customers could use to get a discount when they placed an order. This allowed us to track the number of customers who used the promo code, and therefore, how many customers were coming to the restaurant through our ads.

3. TikTok: Unlike Google and Facebook, TikTok does not have a built-in conversion tracking feature. However, we included a unique promo code in the bio section of the restaurant’s TikTok account, which customers could use to get a discount when they visited the restaurant. We also encouraged customers to mention the promo code when they placed their order at the restaurant. This allowed us to track the number of customers who used the promo code, and therefore, how many customers were coming to the restaurant through our TikTok account.

In addition to using promo codes, we also monitored the restaurant’s website traffic and phone bookings to see if there was a spike in activity during our digital marketing campaigns. We also regularly communicated with the restaurant’s staff to get feedback on any customers who mentioned seeing the restaurant’s ads on Google, Facebook, or TikTok.

By using a combination of promo codes, website traffic monitoring, and customer feedback, we were able to accurately track how many customers were coming to the restaurant through our digital marketing campaigns, and provide detailed reports and insights to our client.
